Cook serves up the goods for a succesful adventure

Cook scores twice from shorts while Ray butchers another movie franchise.

Let me inspire you- Season start with a 1-4 win. We have started with and unexpected journey, Thorin took us to the steel capital of England and not to mention we were a little rusty as the pitch was set up for slow rolling.

High pressure is what starts with steel making but the the heat of a condensed D was not allowing us to strike the hot iron to shape te game as we wanted.

We cooled it down and took a safety back seat to let the molecules of of the "dense" opposition losses their structure.

Then the short corners opened up, Tony took his chances, the first in the side netting a top of the D drag push. The second was a little less clinical with a tinder here and twiddle there and a little lift to the center of the goal. Tony mom. Stamped in Steel.

Then something hot poured out of he cauldron our very own Gimli struck with his axe and they had a short.

A simple straight strike into the goal. Sam must have been sleeping as Dave too told us all that the game was boring. But boring straight stikes score against us?!

Anyway half time came and we questioned the half court but it had intelligence from Thorin to be king of the dwarfs. It will draw them out.

The second half the Orks were less spritely but they had belief they wanted to rule with the darkness of middle earth and draw the beauty of the game to their level

And they succeeded a curtain of darkness fell.

And we struggled to bring light to the game. We lost our pace and passes were fluffed. Some individual flashes of light opportunities missed as DJ glanced a few past the post and the hobbling hobbit (also known as Stingray) drawing a few passes into Cragsy for his pop to the back board and Jamie's slot into the back.

Now to mention, as the dwarfs all know it's important to go into battle a good pair of boots is required, but a certain dwarf who can only be called DJ- did not bring his and had to go to the RedCar sports direct (not anyone's desirable spot to make such an important purchase)

Anyhow the game ended 1-4 and we came off disappointed, we could have and will do better.

All hail Thorin king of the dwarfs.

The End.
